    Hexa build

Hi Ross thanks. Yep thats David Hogg, he lives a couple of miles away from me. He has made a stunning tiny tri that fits into the smallest of cases. Its what he is using for his shoots now. I can't remember the Canon point and shoot he uses. Here is his machine. He flys UAS for a day job now...

    Understanding PID's

That is a great explanation Mat, I might lift it as someone was asking just such things on the OP forum. Well over at OP we are building a library of all the initial testers PIDs and then hopefully we will be able have some handy pointers for tuning base figures. You can already tune in flight...

Can someone explain what these 2 boards do?

Well, whilst undertaking AP we have discovered that having someone else there does not just half the workload it seems to quarter it maybe more. Looks like you need an MK board with follow me and POI http://youtu.be/8HJUjizCPrQ Careful if you start chasing trains etc without all the...

Can someone explain what these 2 boards do?

But why don't you yaw the platform rather? Plug and play boards are at least two main chips away. By 2013 I reckon things will be easy ;-)

I'm glad you said that about the retracts Mat, maybe its to get any legs out of the shot. I did'nt understand the requirement either.

Is this the Smallest Quadcopter in the word ? I think so ...

Yes standard ESCs or I2C both are on the board the CopterControl is only a stabilizing board and has 6 configurable PWM outputs and of course with I2C you can add what you like. The full OP board has eight outputs along with of course the I2C. We are hoping people will also adopt CC for...

Is this the Smallest Quadcopter in the word ? I think so ...

There are about 30 active developers, the CopterControl is the simple board the main work is going into the full INS/GPS OpenPilot board which will come out later this year. Spring is here and everyones platforms are emerging.

Is this the Smallest Quadcopter in the word ? I think so ...

@ Buzzed yeah I won't be rushing to fly in these winds generally. I certainly need to get handier with the sticks as well. @ Bart are you after how much it will lift?? I can try lift something I guess. Its a very heavy frame so I don't think much more. What I would like to find now is the most...

Yeah no flip of death, but a handful to fly, beyond my pay scale at the minute but with practice I think I will get there.

It flew, very happy with the outcome. Now its time to sort out that prop adapter and sort the PIDs, will just turn everything down slightly. Then its onto making some sort of landing gear/camera mount. Not the lightest airframe in the world but very strong I think.
