Tau Labs OpenPilot mainboard V Octo Flying

There are several versions of the Pro board flying, a name I hate BTW really think we should have a naming competition. We have been rubbish at naming these boards so far! That is the bigger brother of the CC, it has native GPS, compass and baro. Anyhow Sambas has flown a V octa, still to be...

Tau Labs The famous Warthox tests CopterControl

I keep telling you Pip back in your box and keep working (Pip has created another ground breaking bit, and is a core developer across the OpenPilot range of cool things) You meant almost like this one Pip

Tau Labs The famous Warthox tests CopterControl

That bloke Warthox seems to live in perfect weather land. The default settings might be a bit stiff for people with experience but it has been demonstrated and tested that they fly Tri,Quad and Hex. It was a difficult balance deciding what to make those settings better something rather than...

Tau Labs OpenPilot TV Episode 1

Ross, the OpenPilot mainboard supports Octos out the box but is coming soon... It has flown and is being ever developed. You will see that things like magic waypoint are working and a few other bits and bobs. There is no hurry in the project as we get stuff out right. CopterControl is our...

    Tau Labs Installing GCS

Are you still waffling on... The GCS ground control station, will allow you to track your board if you hook a up a GPS and XBee or change PIDs whilst airborne. Perhaps in the future a bit of control over the platform as well. Although thats really the preserve of CC's big brother the...

    Tau Labs Installing GCS

Hi Kilby I don't have that fruit based thing, but I thought I heard another Mac version was being compiled earlier today. There is a version here, http://wiki.openpilot.org/display/BUILDS/Pre-Release+OpenPilot+Builds if you know how to compile stuff you might want to do that to get the very...

Tau Labs Come Out of the Closet - CC Newbes Say Aye

Aye, actually Aye Aye (have 2) Remember you don't actually need the hardware to start playing with the software, you can even watch an aircraft flying around in a flight sim if your confuser is swift enough. http://wiki.openpilot.org/display/BUILDS/Pre-Release+OpenPilot+Builds

Well we are adding one, its already designed just got to figure out the cost. Any NMEA GPS will talk to CC. Someone is busy on the navigation software as well. We are far behind with our paperwork though so please bear with the wiki!! Everyone is too busy having fun.
