I would say your center of gravity got wacked out by the gimbal being added, you may have to adjust your battery back a little.

If it's the stock f450 naza kit, I didn't cut any wires out, just plugged it all in and works like a charm. Maybe try getting the kit back to stock by reconnecting the wires to the opto's and go from there.

I know gopro didn't recommend class 10 cards for the HDhero1, I think the hd2 can take them.

If it's the stock naza dji flamewheel kit with the dji opto esc's, you shouldn't have to cut anything. Are the plugs in right side up (right side being dark brown wire on top/light brown wire on bottom?

It's not that bad on my 450, you have to be a little more busy with the throttle and it's more responsive. Take off in Atti mode and get some alt. before you flip the switch, but be ready because it may want to rise kind of fast (or fall depending on where your throttle stick is at the moment)...
