I think the instructions said to run the accelerometer calibration again as well as gain adjustments. I did those, is that what you're referring too? After the Lions game today I'll get a chance to do some more flying :) Maybe sooner depending on how the game goes... hehe

Just the smooth flying goodness of my Pro boards. Would love an AV version of the firmware for the sport that performed liked the gyro version of the Pro board. I don't really need the acrobatics for the sport but some might, I just want the uber smoothness of the pro board in manual mode on...

I use EZUHF as well, one thing I've done to reduce the wire clutter is to use single leads from the rx to the HF board instead of 3 wire leads. I use the 3 wire lead on the throttle channel to provide power to the rx but single leads on the rest. But yes, I would like a nice clean PPM...

I haven't really noticed any difference between the simonk and normal escs myself. I think they make the motors more quiet but other than that they seem to fly the same.

No, just dropping the throttle doesn't disarm the HF boards. It's a quick left right sequence on the rudder to activate/deactivate.

I've never done any flips or rolls with my Hoverfly Pro quads, as I don't have big steely cojones, but I've done some high speed dives without problems although I wasn't carrying a gimbal down below. The thing I like about my pro boards is that you put them in an attitude and they do pretty well...

I have some on a frame I just modified, I've only done test hovers so far. It seems to fly just fine but the escs themselves get a little warm.

If I remember correctly the HF board detects liftoff so bench testing can be difficult. The motors only react when airborne.

Yeah I picked up the Sony Action Cam which can do 120fps at 720p but the datarate is so low it's just a compression artifacts fest... Now the GoPro 3 Black edition looks AWESOME! Not sure if I could stomach crashing with a $400 camera though... I'm such a wuss!
