Show what you filmed - Post Your Video Here

Welcome to the forum Bob, watching your vid reminded me of more than a few nights I had in my youth! Check out IrisArials batwing legs and Breezemonts "nomojello" gopro mounts, both guys are members here and both super cheap and well worth it for quick gopro mounting on the 450. Nice digs you...

that's funny cuz I talked to him too and I found him to be the friendliest MC vendor at the show. Plus he was the only one showing in the much vaunted Red pavilion. His ship was a little rough and the gimbal is servo based so nothing really groundbreaking. I talked to him on day 1 so maybe...

    Alexmos 3rd axis sample

I haven't seen an AlexM gimbal in person but I did handle the Movi and it is a fantastic piece of gear, whisper quiet. It's great if all your handheld shots are from belly level, try holding a 10 pound kettle ball in front of your face for any length of time. A steadicam will do more as in...

Aeronavics / Droidworx Multirotor Noob Question

Eastcoastjib, as someone whose been operating movie cranes for over 30 years, let me tell you these things are nothing like working a crane arm. Maybe operating the gimbal is sort of like it, but otherwise, nothing like it. For one, your crane arm will never confuse you has to orientation...

Hello, my name is Tom, and I'm a multi-holic!

    You're assuming they're women... I can't relate to this thread at all, I KNOW I don't have a problem, I can stop anytime I want...after I get a brushless gimbal...but after that, any time I want...after I get better props and a new 5.8 receiver...then I'll just hang up the old dx8 and...

    GoPro, FPV question

The GP's have a harder time adjusting to light changes vs. the fpv cams. The wifi on the gp3's are really only useful for framing and will drain your battery twice as fast, don't try and fly fpv with the wifi.

Nice stuff Kloner, but where's the payoff of a high shot on that American flag planting? What controller are you using on the gimbal?

Commercial Feasibility - MRs for Aerial Videos/Photos

Personally, I'm changing course and plan on releasing customized roller blades for film makers. I'll call them "Moovmi blades". What Yuri and Droider said, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the adventure. I don't know of any other piece of film equipment that requires so much tweeking and...

CEO of Google worried about multirotors with cameras

This guys opinion is right on the button... "Back in 2009, Google CEO and now Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt, already under heavy fire for his company’s strategy to collect, store, and mine every shred of personal data out there, said on CNBC, “If you have something that you don’t want anyone...

a newbie looking for a copter for professional gopro filming

It's like a Greek tragedy man, how the hell did you break the rod? I made a gopro mount for my pod since I share it between to ships, Kloner uses some kind of dragon snot and tacks it down flat, I tried velcro and couldn't get the pod to sit flat enuff. I guess with the pod you should be more...

    Another one bites the dust...

They really are like lightbulbs, when they work they shine very bright, but they seem to go out at the most inopportune times.

Do you know this as a fact? (not trying to be my snarky self, just asking how you know this)

Call for beta test of DJI Zenmuse H3-2D Gimbal

I think it's less about testing a gimbal and more about having a few forum members become product savvy so dji can get free help desk service on their products.

    Noobie Needs Help with Soldering.

Another thing to do is have both connectors mated so you don't deform the plastic and don't unplug until the soldered pieces are completely cooled.
