Want a capable heavy lift Okto

Are the plastic clips what holds the arms open? I didn't realize the arms were only 16mm, the pictures make it look beefier then my 21.5mm booms. I guess I see anodized aluminum and get all wobbly in the knees.

Want a capable heavy lift Okto

I love the look of the Tarot frames, and for the price-wow! I didn't think the octo was foldable though, I'd go for the hex also. Denny, how are things going in Cyprus and will the banks ever open again?

DJI Phantom GoPro ISO wire rope isolator

I'll say it again Breezemont, these things just flat out work. No more dinkin around with rubber bands, no more having to fly your gopro naked (unless that's your thing), just hang the camera and fly. Of everything I've spent money on in this great adventure, for the price this one works as...

    GoPro Hero3 Black

I would still look for a gp2, I've seen some fantastic deals in the local craigs list, or wait and see what the summer new camera season brings and pick up a gp3b used. The problem with the gp3b's is there isn't one thing or one combination of settings that crash it, it's just random, it'll all...

I liked my dji motors so much, I gave them away for free so that some other special spirit in the world could feel the love.

Cool beans! Kloners right though, the dji motors are junk for the price, but they'll get you through till at least your first heinous crash then you can upgrade motors if you still feel multirotoring is for you.

    DJI F450 "batwing" camera bracket

It's funny how well they work, I haven't done any adjustments to mine since I first built it and never see the slightest hint of jello. I'm ditching my homemade gimbal and am going to try it on a hex with a sony dsc-hx9v, a well known jello box, but I feel success is high.

    Uavproducs.com reliable supplier?

Rob use to post here, I met him once at NAB last year. He was manning the dji booth, striking figure he was, must be Nordic, he stood 6 or 7 feet tall with shoulders of a viking god and the flowing hair of a man angel...errr...normal guy wearin kahkis, I think he's still one of the main dji...

Yeah, I can't do brain surgery either, but it doesn't stop me from trying. We're not here to sell you a copter and only you know your financial status. Is it a lot of money? F YES! I'm just over one year into this coming from the same place as you with no prior rc experience (save for the tv...

    Help with a new gimbal

Well here's my first attempt at building a gimbal from scratch, sort of... it's big and clunky but I didn't have to buy anything more than a couple of 6mm bolts. As soon as my neighbor brings back my wheelbarrow I'll take it to the kitchen for a weigh in but it feels no heavier then a bottle...

alright then, it allows you to do more things in the future. I started with a dx6i and within a few months I moved to the dx8. You'll need a 3 position switch if your running the naza gps, and the knob is kind of cool for adjusting gains on the fly or using it to tilt your camera.
