Looks like a good idea especially for colder winter flying, i.e., below -5 or -10 deg C. as component heat remains inside the shell. Hot summer might have it's limits.

I am under the impression that you only need to WKM datalink and software which does most or all OSD that you require on your PC screen with real time google earth in the background.... iOSD was developed for those with NAZA or who don't have the full WKM datalink features.

I find this realtime Google Earth 3D long range capability most intriguing and am considering going with the 900Mhz or 2.4 Ghz datalink. Seems the 900 Mhz datalink would be a good way to go since I am currently usig a Futaba T8FG Super 2.4 Ghz system and need to avoid rfi interference issues...

The S800 is a ot of money which seems to warrant the commercial grade WKM versus Naza. WKM keeps your options wide open as does the S800. Naza cannot allow you to send on a waypoint mission and/or circle a defined hot spot. Otherwise they are quite similar in functionality.
