I had a flight where the lipo went to auto land. The Inspire did just that there was no drama. It came down on some sage brush and I lost a prop and that was it. Tech does work.

Just some catch up items. DJI has confirmed that they do not plan to support the GoPro, Sony F100 or GH4. Sorry guys but unless they change their minds that is the word.

Heliflo, what would you have us do. We have offered to repair your unit. Even military grade equipment has failure rates. We will take care of you. What response did you get from your dealer?

Mine came with an ND filter. I am not sure what value it is. There are no markings on it. Looking at it, it seems to be a .9 but I don't know.

Ok guys, guess what showed up on my doorstep today, my very own Inspire 1. I do not have to share any more. Yea. Now I can get down to real testing. The App and firmware are not set in stone yet. I am looking forward to that but I am happy just to have one.

The Inspire comes with Lightbridge, if you want to compare apples to apples you need to include it. I will give you the Tx as the new P2's come with the V2 Tx and it has a trainer port that works with Lightbridge.

@ Av8Chuck, What about a Tx and the Lightbridge? That would be another $1500. So you are back to it doesn't look like a bad deal.

I spent all day yesterday at the event, 20 hour day if you include 5.5hours of driving. As stated, I can post some pictures of the Inspire . I have been trying to upload photos for the last hour and it continues to fail. I will try again later.

I have been flying this version for 2 weeks. I really don't think you will be disappointed. The new features are awesome and the GPS algorithms are much improved. Just my opinion.

The Discovery is not that stable in yaw because of the arm placement. That is why I sold mine.

The S1000 flies very well in ATTI mode. I prefer it to GPS under most circumstances. Less reaction to the wind etc. Just my preference. Yours may vary.

I would contact your dealer for repair/replacement. I should not behave that way.
