that wire going through the bearing looks tight,,, try rotating the tilt 360, 720, make it so the tension of that wire group to help it make it go down. i would think if it started suddenly that tilt got spun around in transit or what have you.

I get it...we've been in brushless red r&d for 10 months now..... we've gone through 12 revisions..... same deal, most our old ones work handheld daily on sets, we also rent em..... the av200 idd is brushless, maxton motors, just needs a brushless controller.....$2-$3k with rc, video tx, etc...
