I can’t answer whether or not you can buy a superX without a GPS, but I know it works fine with out it being installed. I tested mine. I just unplugged the GPS. Manual and Atti mode works completely the same as it does with the GPS installed.. you just don;t have RTH or the GPS function. And...

I am having this problem with my Naza V1 and I’m a pretty experienced guy. I end up re-calibrating the compass and ity goes into the proper mode. My V1 will not hold calibration... I HATE DJI.

Cool design, looks a lot like the Sky-Hero Spyder... But I actually like your front arm design better, easier to get the props out of the way.

I think he was running 12/4 props on 3S on a 1100KV motor. i agree 10” props on 3S on a 1100KV motor is fine.

I think that prop is pulling too many amps and cutting off the ESC. To me a 12x45 prop is a lot for an 1100KV motor on 3S and a 10x4.5 is a lot of prop for it on 4S.

I run P 1.2 R1.2 Y1.2 H.8 on pretty much everything from a quad to an octo. Then I fine tune the gain with a slider using an extra channel assigned to the fine tuning. (you will not see a setting for this on the GUI) The fine tune is what really takes the shake or wobble out of the controller...

That is what I really love about the SuperX, unlike the Naza or other FC’s that fight you in GPS mode, the SuperX does not feel any different than atti mode at all, it is just smooth and then when you stop it just sits there. So far everyone I have let fly my rigs with SuperX on them wants one.

Yea, I have a (1)basic, (1)standard and (2) pro ( changed all my rigs from Hoverfly) and they have been amazing. The only thing i had problems with was trying to put on on my XY8 coax, it did not like that config, but the engineers sent some ideas, but honestly that rig flys so well on the HFP...

100% agree. It is so much better than anything out there for the smoothness and feel.
