Interesting, I'm reviewing the U7's and I was sent the T-Motor 45A SimonK ESC's with the motors. Did you directly hear from T-motor not to use their SimonK ESC's? I have had 1 test hop with my rig so far and the motors responded perfectly. Even with SimonK you still have to set the end points...

Yea I don;t care about numbers or thrust or efficiency ratings, I care about real world footage. The T-Motors seriously take a well balanced rig and allow it to be perfect. I am sold forever on these bad boys. That being said, setting up an octo with 15" - 18" T motor props may require a mortgage!

Yea for sport flying.. who cares, but for AP/AV smooth matters. And the price is WORTH IT!

So I had a set of T-Motor 15/5 props on my 800mm Hexacrafter hex and they were very nice. Nice and smooth and fairly balanced out of the package. So I bought a set of T-Motor 12/4 props for my GoPro rig. a 530mm Quad with a SuperX FC that is my best buddy. It never fails me... I know it like...

Are your ESC’s rated to go to 5S? Most are 2 - 4 and then bigger ones like 40 - 80 amp can do 3S - 6S

The Hexacrafter is very solid. It can take a GH3 with the bigger cage, but mine is set up for a NEX5 This is it:

So looking at the size and weight, with a Lumix lens on it, the BMPC looks like it could work in a gimbal designed for the NEX5N. Thoughts? I have a really nice Hexacrafter gimbal for my NEX5's... Hmmmmm

also especially with sensitive stuff like FC's and IMU's hard mounting can really be a problem. I actually mount a piece of 30 shore 1/4" thick Sorbathane under my Flight Controls. Kills almost all vibrations and it seems to helps stability a lot. AND, I had a problem recently with a gimbal...
