If you are looking at 5.8 and going with the fat shark/immersionRc bands, I think the immersionRc Uno (Fat Shark) is a good receiver for the money. I've had solid luck with it. Just works, which can be the key attribute with some of this video link stuff :)

The integrated PDB is actually much more complete than others I've used, with servo headers for running the esc wires, retracts etc. Makes for a pretty tidy setup.

I still have a sony nex that I'd love to use. The fact that it's so cheap is a load off, stress wise. I get some cool video from it (good enough for me), and like to work my confidence in any rig up to my more expensive camera :) Jakub, you may have mentioned but.... Can the gimbal be ordered...

Seriously! After having to do the dance with the Vulcan, which is too big to easily spin just in you hands, I have almost fallen over several times. Makes me miss the good old days of tiny 450 size quads that I could flip around without thinking about it. :)
