Anyone near you have another SuperX to try the compas/GPS from? This stuff does suck, the stuff that is not obvious is a real PIA!

SO.. when you put the radio into GPS you are only getting 1 green flash? That’s ODD. As you shoudl get 1 green and 1 red if the GPS was just not getting signal. (or if the GPS is not plugged in, it will only go to ATTi mode hence the 1 green flash) So that leaves two things that could be wrong...

I think he has a separate batt for the LED’s so flight time should be normal!

Is there any size limit to frames or weight limits? (ie. have you tested the unit with large hex or Octos?)

To me that looks like an issue of an unbalanced prop or motor. Also, you are getting a strobe effect from the props and the light, you may want to add some kind of light shield above the cam... or even a lens hood (you can make one out of a pill bottle, and it’s so light the gimbal doesn’t know...

I agree and we have a whole crew of guys including lawyers, low flying Helicopter pilot/FAA certified rotor/fixed wing instructor and several other FAA people working towards this goal. Will we succeed? No one knows, but we are going to try!! Best advice I have heard... work within the system...

To me its the mounting plate. If you are machining them, then I guess that doesn’t matter. But if you look at the picture these were meant to be mounted INTO a wing so the flange is on the opposite side from what you want it on for a multi. If you look at the tarot, it will easily mount to...

@Pumpkinguy I’d really rethink those retracts. 1) They are not made for multi’s and 2) they have an awful reputation. For $110 you can get a set of the Tarot Retracts that have a built in controller and can take 3 - 6S have a failsafe “down” position in the controller. I have them on three rigs...
