Do you guys solder your servo pin connectors?

Yea unless you are putting them under stress I don’t see the need. And if you are putting them under stress.... STOP IT... that’s just silly. :D

    Bizarre Zenmuse BMPCC issue

Thank you.... but no sir, I'm just a guy who had the exact same problem and was fortunate enough to find the answer and remember it! Glad you have it working! The BMPCC creates some amazing images, especially after Divinci does it’s thing. :D

    Bizarre Zenmuse BMPCC issue

You have to start the BMPCC Zen with the camera set to a certain frame rate. I can't remember if it's 29.? or 23.? (sorry at work and don;t have my cam infant of me. This same issue almost drove me crazy. But anyways, try those frame rates, set the camera to one, and boot the system, and give...

XAircraft Super X GPS quit working.

Anyone near you have another SuperX to try the compas/GPS from? This stuff does suck, the stuff that is not obvious is a real PIA!

XAircraft Super X GPS quit working.

SO.. when you put the radio into GPS you are only getting 1 green flash? That’s ODD. As you shoudl get 1 green and 1 red if the GPS was just not getting signal. (or if the GPS is not plugged in, it will only go to ATTi mode hence the 1 green flash) So that leaves two things that could be wrong...

Very Interesting! Linux/APM flight control system!

Is there any size limit to frames or weight limits? (ie. have you tested the unit with large hex or Octos?)

    zenmuse bouncing issue

To me that looks like an issue of an unbalanced prop or motor. Also, you are getting a strobe effect from the props and the light, you may want to add some kind of light shield above the cam... or even a lens hood (you can make one out of a pill bottle, and it’s so light the gimbal doesn’t know...

    How to power my retracts.

Yea that’s what I meant by the flange being on the wrong side, but hey! Some extra bolts and problem solved. I hope they work! Post pics when you finish!

Very Interesting! Linux/APM flight control system!

Sounds pretty awesome! How hard is tuning a new airframe? Complicated or fairly easy?

    Sport Pilot License

I agree and we have a whole crew of guys including lawyers, low flying Helicopter pilot/FAA certified rotor/fixed wing instructor and several other FAA people working towards this goal. Will we succeed? No one knows, but we are going to try!! Best advice I have heard... work within the system...

    How to power my retracts.

To me its the mounting plate. If you are machining them, then I guess that doesn’t matter. But if you look at the picture these were meant to be mounted INTO a wing so the flange is on the opposite side from what you want it on for a multi. If you look at the tarot, it will easily mount to...

    How to power my retracts.

@Pumpkinguy I’d really rethink those retracts. 1) They are not made for multi’s and 2) they have an awful reputation. For $110 you can get a set of the Tarot Retracts that have a built in controller and can take 3 - 6S have a failsafe “down” position in the controller. I have them on three rigs...
