FoxtechFPV Supremes are AWESOME. The Supreme lights are even pretty good!

To me T-Motor props are still the best with the Foxtech Supremes right there behind them.

What frame rate? Sometimes you have to start in a lower frame rate to get the converter to "start up" and then you can change it after it's fired up. This is the case on my BMPCC enemies.

I chose to make mine ridged but Andrew has included the parts to make this folding. And designed it to fit into existing cases that are easy to find.

I have discovered (and @Hexacrafter can back me up on this) Prop selection makes a HUGE difference with X8. The floppy folding props work great on quads and flat hex's and probably some light weight rigs but from our experience a nice solid CF prop really helps the performance of a HL X8. On...

I have the bottom STO vibe plate, it was not good. It took out small vibrations but let the gimbal move too much. I did not try to add more rings tho, so if you want to try it, I would suggest getting 4 more of the ring sets and run 8 total, this would probably help stop the gimbal motion.

The superX rocks in the X8 config, flys the same as quad or hex... handles wind a bit better. The rig is all set, was going to go test fly today and of course, 20 + mph winds and rain on the way... Mother Nature is out to hold me down!

Use a metal yard stick and lay it across (sharp edge down) 2 motor mounts at a time. Should give you a nice flat platform.

Not wind. I don't have a lot of experience with the Pixhawk, but that is not the way a controller should fly. Are you sure you have the motors in the right configuration? To me it seems like your motors are off. Meaning that #1 on a A2 on a Y Hex is the front right arm. Where is your number 1...
