does the nex5 have any kind odf image stabilization of video? i'm undecided weather to go for the nex5n or the RX100 as that has great in camera stabiliser but only shoots 50p i need 24 and 25p

Ok went to camera shop to check out Nex5N, the RX100 the stabilizer in the RX100 seems great but only records 50p i really need 50p and 25p 24p. the NEX5 has apsc sensor records all frame rates i need but no Stabilizer. Does any one know how the nex5 copes with shakey situations?

i'd buy the offer that has both lenses but i'd use the 16mm as it's lightest and widest. Hows the jello effect on the Nex5?

Rx100 looks great does it shot 24p? And 50p 1080? Does it have manual control in video mode?

I know the 5n is actually better than the 7 at high ISO so better for video. As It has less pixels = lower noise, so definatly not worth the extra money over a 5n. I want to know If the nex5n has image stabilise like the Hx9v

Thanks you! thats cleared it up for me. I tried using the Wookong to control the gimbal but was pretty twitchy so think i'll get a bec and hook up the the xaircraft FC

I got an Sbus Reciever so i get my gimbal channels back but the wookong really isnt very good a gimbal control so i think i'll defo give this a go now. cheers guys

Ok so that leads me to my next question what does a BEC do i think i have one from an old TREX600 Heli. Do i connect the BEC to my main lipo and then run my Xaircraft FC/Gimbal controller and FPV gear from that? Thanks for your help Olli

Hi All I've upgrade my FC in my xaircraft x650 v8 to a wookong m but of course there are only 6 outputs unless you use up the camera gimbal slots. so can i use my old Xaircraft FC as a stand alone controler for the camera gimbal? if so how do i power it? Cheers Olli
