Basic Setup Instructions for FrSky Taranis, X8R and Naza-M V2

Great read! Quick question I haven't seemed to figure out yet. Is there a way to assign x1/x2 to a switch (locking in gain settings for different battery weights) and also simultaneously use a dial to fine tune the settings? I looked into global variables, but not clear on its usage in this way...

    Gains setup with switches

OK taranis gurus. This one has me stumped. Hoping for a logical solution. I've tried a few to no avail. I imagine any radio setup would work in the same logic. I have a taranis/naza/gains situation. I have a 650 with three different size/weight batteries. Each battery requires a different...

V2 stability in wind and balancing on 650 quad

A smidge over 50%. I have my radio beep at 50%, and it's within that range that I keep the throttle to hover. Here is a video better illustrating my situation. Is it possible the camera extension is too far although it is balanced? Or are the 12" props too much for wind? Thanks!

    Lite to V2?

aerial photography for hobby. only experience with the two quads I built. one with APM and other the naza. I rather enjoy the setups - it's what I like most about the apm, tweaking. I was curious about anything else out there other people recommend.

    Lite to V2?

I know for me, it was recommended as "good enough" for a starting project. they advertise it as plug and play, so I thought more time in air, less on computer... I was wrong. what would be better in your opinion? Based on my favorable experience with even the lower end APM, and the vast amount...

    Lite to V2?

I haven't had much luck with my naza lite. It seems very inconsistent. I can lock gains in remotely on a calm day, fly it steadily, but those same gains are entirely unreliable on a windy day. I've learned to keep remote adjustments on the radio at sacrifice of gimbal control and Ioc (noob)...

V2 stability in wind and balancing on 650 quad

Considering a 650 is balanced with load (camera, gimbal, etc.), would it cause a Naza to become more unstable in wind using the same gains locked in during a calm day with equal load and balance? I'm using extended rails which reach just to booms, but heavier weight of battery positioned...

    Differences between Naza-M V1 / V2 and Lite

Hardware identical. DJI locked out lite users with unstable and crappy firmware ignoring every request for fixes. With a recent hack, you can easily upgrade your lite to full v2 functionality via firmware. Lots of favorable reports and videos on YouTube about it. www.naza-upgrade.com in case...

Basic Setup Instructions for FrSky Taranis, X8R and Naza-M V2

Motors: Dualsky XM4010 710kv ESC: ZTW 30a Opto Spiders Props: Testing a few sizes, but so far, I am liking CF 10x5 and 11x5 [photo here shows 10.5 APC testers One caveat: There isn't a lot of room on the plates. I didn't want to put the ESCs on the booms, so I ended up buying another set of...
