Brushless Gimbal Developments

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
DennyR if you check the rcgroups thread on the AQ developments on the gimbal etc. the last couple posts were only about winding motors and they mentioned also motor with more poles. Jussi considered that more poles could give a higher resolution or smoother movement. Also in the Rcrgoups there is a whole sub forum about winding motors !

Boris

which thread are you referring to Boris?

Yes, I think its only going to be a few weeks before you'll be able to get a variety of motors made by existing vendors. My piggy bank looks really nervous. It knows whats coming.

I've got a Tiger 4008-12 in the parts bin downstairs.....something tells me surgery is imminent. 18 poles, time to start reading.

Bart that would be excellent.

I have already started rewinding MT 4008 and 3506. plenty of scope to remove a lot of weight at the same time.
