Hi everybody

I would buy a very good controller for quadcopter or hexacopter . I need a help to chose between naza or apm 2.5 .

And can you give me good motors for copter (2 kg max)

This is a very good question... And the answer depends on what you intend to do with the quad or hex? and how much experience do you have with R/C?. They are both good systems but have different functionality and good and bad points I have good experience in both so could probably advise you if I know a little more?

i am the beginner ... i tray the http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...ti_Rotor_Control_Board_V2_1_Atmega168PA_.html but for me is to hard to calibrate this board and now i would buy a good one and easy to calibrate .

I also fly with this board but for beginners is a little difficult to fly with if you want something stable and easy to calibrate then it has to be the Naza, the APM has more functionality but unless you understand how it works, you will find it difficult to calibrate properly, the Naza will work out of the box more or less? I recommend the Naza GPS if you are a beginner it will probably save you money in the long run, as it is not so easy to crash

Have to agree with Aviator. Go for the Naza if you want to fly and want GPS and Altitude hold second to none at hobby level. Or go for APM if you enjoy tinkering and getting down to the nitty gritty of PID's, waypoints, geofencing etc.

If you just want a cheap easy to setup board look at the KK2.

I tried APM but it’s much harder to tune and there are often little bugs and hardware issues arise and you have to spend a lot of time keeping up with it. Plus APM is 8 bit hardware, using Arduino interface and its old technology. If you don’t need gps then there is a cheaper nazza clone, $189USD allegedly made by DJI. Software interface is the same as Nazza. It will only fly quads and does not offer gps expansion.

Nazza flies great in atti mode and it will give you a lot of confidence. If you are learning, I would also invest in some decent flashing strobe lights to aid orientation. Losing orientation is often the first step in losing control.

The new CC3D board is a top end product in terms of hardware (32 bit) and the software interface is as good as the Nazza and APM. GPS is in development and hopefully will come. CC3D can be used for gimbal stabilisation, helix and fixed wing so you would always find a use for it. OP is well documented (better than NAzza) and has an active and helpful support community.

CC is a good board but it doesn't offer a lot over the KK2 in terms of features and not altitude hold like the Naza. Also no GPS support for multi. Can also be hard to get although 3 rd party clones are now being produced. It can also be a bit involved to setup and tune.

for the few dollars saved on Bumblebee I wouldn't suggest one over Naza, fewer features and support for almost same price.

i buy the naza from flitelab ... it give me the discount ... and i got it in 3 days ... i think that i make a good choice for beginner in world of multicopter. I give you my opinions when i tray it ?
