FPV for 2 -YellowJacket 5.8 Pro Diversity Receiver

Hello, I use the iftron stinger for my fpv and YellowJacket 5.8 Pro Diversity Receiver that has 2 video outs. I'm trying to have my camera operator keep the Yellow Jacket and battery etc on his tx tray.

However, I would like to use the second output for my ground station screen. The problem is that currently it requires us to use a very long AV cable and thus we are unable to move about independently without the wire dragging along. This is very challenging and the wire sometimes gets pulled out causing all fpv signal to be lost.

Does anyone know of a way I can transmit wireless video to my monitor using the 2nd AV output on the yellowjacket?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
get a second receiver and tune it to the same channel as the transmitter. that way you and camera man could be on opposite ends of a football (US or EU) field and still working together.

I have a question for you TJ. I have a yellowjacket 5.8 that I use with some Vuzix goggles. I am plugged into channel 1 and for the most part picture is good until the receiver starts to cycle around and the picture quality goes down. I'm not sure why it keeps cycling around but it won't stay on one setting. Have you had any thing like this with yours? thanks Shaun

I'm using the ones that it came with, about 4" long. I also have some round ones, I got from Quadrocopter.us but there is no name on them. It doesn't make any difference. I can be less than 100' away and it will begin to lose signal. Or that is what it looks like. Shaun

you might try a bec set to 12v. seem to remember something about these iftrons and that........12.6v isn't good enough, etc.

also is any other antennas are near its, you might think about spreading it all out. Twist all your wires

Well I just lost my quad. I only about 200 ft away and maybe 75-100 ft high and I lost signal. It was just over a bluff of trees so I didnt see it go down. It could be in my pond which is 12' deep, too bad. Not sure if it was the transmitter or what. so I'll be looking for another quad and fpv set up. any suggestions on the fpv? thanks Shaun

You could use AV OUT on your FatShark goggles (if you have a pair) to feed the monitor, and just leave them hanging on something, but you'd have to use CP antennas so it wouldn't matter what way your goggles were hanging.
