If I had to guess, I'd say A since B is clearly just a render. A is a real photo.

It's crazy to think that they have pricing and pre-order available though site unseen.

One thing is for sure, with batteries that cost $420 a pop, this is going to be one EXPENSIVE bird to keep in the air! To match the 12 I keep on hand now to go out for the day would cost over $5,000... just for batteries!

ZZr wait with the lipo buying until you have a clear number what the S8000 can take up on payload this lipo combo already gives you 2.4 kg than you have the gimbal and you camera you are very quickly on a 4 kg payload. Ask DJI before if that reasonable !

If you look at the latest spec sheet on the S800 they are now quoting 16 min flying time on 10A 6S. I am like you I have 4 5000 6S so I see no reason not to use them. Sidnew said the 15A 6S was 2.2Kg I think.

Hi Tahoe Ed,
Thank you. I saw spec sheet about 16 min flying time. 15A 6s 2.2kg is good weight but $$$.

4s 11A is 820g but i wouldnt use 4s on the low Kv motors that the S800 will have, you should stay with 6s which is better anyways. The link above shows you a 6s 11A lipo with weight 1.2 KG 400$ compared to a 15A 6S but 2.2 KG. The 11A probably will give you the same same flight time as the 15A 6s considering that its 1 KG lighter, but i am not sure not going to start calculating :)

I think they might have designed themselves into a corner with this one. A very expensive corner!

If you start to price it all out, this could easily run you $8-10k for the craft, wk, gimbal and a collection of batteries. Now consider that they have not even released full specs or real demos with on board video, but expect people to make a financial obligation like that based solely on their word. Insane to me. Absolutely insane.

I hope for anyone that preordered this that it takes the best video in the world.

Do people really spend that kind of money on lipos? Can't believe someplace like that's even in business, $400, yea right.
