Z15 calibration problem

Hi
I just got the Z15 for NEx5N
When I connect it to the battery it runs the calibration cycle moves and then stops for a split sec in horizontal. Then it "release the tension" and the left side falls down to make the horizon become leaning about 30 degrees. Im I am indoor it takes about 30sec to a minut until the horizon is level again. If I am outdoors and the GPS has connection i fails to reach a level horizon.
Anyone with similar problems? What is the solution?

Note: Radio controls function correct, i start up in reset mode, radio ON. All cables are in place. GPS direction and Wookong direktion is correct. Everything is functional when the level has returned to level. I run the latest upgrade/update on the firmware.
Confused...

Hope to get input.

Here is a video
In this case the timer on the radio had shut down just before I intitalized the gimbal however the ruslt is exactly the same with the radio on at startup.

I am assuming you did calibrate the gps? If so this is one I have not seen yet you might have a defective unit. Should not matter if the transmitter is on or off it should still power up and be level when done doing it's self calibration.

I know when it is self calibrating it is measuring resistance to balance correctly when starting up and it is falling on the motor side of the gimbal. This may be a silly question but do you have the battery in your nex camera?

Thanks for looking at it.
Battery is in camera and the gimbal+camera is balanced when its loose.
Calibrate GPS? I thought it was only the compass that needed calibration. Do you have a link for calibrating the gps?

sorry GPS/Compass is the same thing. I am really sorry I have no answers for you if the copter flys and stays level it has to be something with the gimbal.

There is something wrong (that you cannot change) since you only should be able to roll about +-30°, but yours you can roll much more to one side, I would suggest to contact your vendor for a replacement, this unit is faulty.

I am having similar problems. Z15 will have about 10 to 15 degrees roll fault when starting up, and come back to straight level in about a minute. But it then stays leveled when I fly and when I have GPS on.
But every time I switch battery, same problem again...

mine does that same.. after a few turns and roll before flight and set it on sort of level, it seems to work for me. It has always done this since I got it.

You are not alone :
I have the same problem.
I correct it manually with the roll channel and then it stays correct.
Every time I switch on the battery.

I am experiencing slight issues as well. After initialization, the gimbal is never perfectly level or straight ahead. I trim it and then fly. Once in the air I level the horizon again from time to time. I have been doing most of my flying in orientation lock mode. If this is not normal, then it seems like most people are abnormal.
