I have a Yellowjacket 5.8 receiver. I lost the 5.8 stinger tx last summer. Would I have to replace the tx with another stinger or will any 5.8 tx work?

I am using Immersion RC transmitters with the Yellowjacket 5.8 RX. Fat Shark should work as well.

any Tx that has the same frequencies to choose from will work. the immersionRC 5.8 Tx works with the yellow jacket.

I can confirm it works as well. And to add, just in case you make my mistakes, make sure you are powering your vtx with enough juice. I kept trying to use a transformer from some aplliance and it didnt have enough juice to make it work yet the light would come on. Use the correct lipo. Also make sure you use a screen that shows static. Those are my 2 big pieces of advice that solved all my problems.
