XT60 Connectors to use or not. DJI F550

Sorry if this has come up before.. I have some XT60 connectors and connecting them to the battery is tricky due to a little smaller than the cable on the battery. 5mm I think. Do people use these or should I use another connector..

The first set of batteries I got had 8 gauge wire. I thought maybe they were also for jump starting my car in an emergency. The only connectors that fit them were PRC6's and I hated them. Pain the the butt to get the cover to snap over the connector once you got it soldered up and the least little bit of solder on the outside of the plug and forget it.

I switched to XT60 and like them a lot better. Will carry most any load in the range we're talking about and much easier to use, lighter, and cheaper.

To fit the big cables, I just use a smaller slot on my wire stripper to trim a little of the wire off neatly and it fits right in.

Your question is a little bit hard to understand, but I will try...

If you mean that your battery cable is thicker than the XT60 connector....this is what I do: Take the battery cable, cut some isolation off and put nicly solder on the end. Than take a dremel tool or a file and make the diameter smaller of the cable smaller until it fits. But never have positive wire and negative wire blank at the same time. Also make sure that your connectors can handle the amp's you are going to use.
