WKM PMU wire too small?

I was just looking at the PMU wires coming from the battery. It's only 18AWG. Is this just me or is this a little too small for a 4s or 5s?

It's quite small for bigger multis. In my Cinestar I have added extra output from power distributor harness for PMU connector, so now it goes straight 10AWG from battery to PD and then to ESC:s and PMU and all other bells and whistles.

If you mean the wires going into the PMU don't worry the whole WKM components dont need so much current. If you are worried about the cable mix up mess DJI sends out LIPO to PMU than you are right. Toss it away shouldn't use deans anyways if your bird could reach a current draw over 60 A.

I am not sure what he asked Kari, just wanted to fill the gap if he meant it in a other way ! No matter what the whole wire setup for the PMU Lipo connection that comes with the WKM is rubbish !

Just to clarify, I meant the power supply wires going into the PMU. Plus they are hard wired directly into the PMU so they cannot be replaced. 18 AWG is very small for my 4s battery.

The PMU is not powering much. Just the controller,led, gps and potentially the servos for the gimbal. The motors are separately wired. I think thats the least of your concerns.
