WKM Gimbal BEC or No BEC who uses

I'm just about to purchase a gimbal for my F550 but was advised to get a BEC, But being all new to me as usual do I buy two or one? Do I still need one if running 3S HELP!

Is anyone running without or with for what reason.

All stupid questions for an expert but I'm no expert..

Get the BEC. You're playing russian roulette trying to use the voltages coming out of the WKM.

Besides....a Castle BEC is only about $20. Cheap insurance when you compare it to the price of decent servos.
