which transmitter rx?

Hey guys. I fly taranis and i am ok with that. The problem is that i built a 450 quad with cc3d controller for my brother and got the turnigy 9x tx rx. Now i find that i have to install a connector to flash software to fly quads. Yuck. I have enough brain challenges already. Is there a tx/rx that i can buy that he can just bind and fly. Perhaps a Spektrum or something that cost less that 200 bucks. What should i do?

Ain't no such thing as "bind and fly" with a multirotor. Not that I've seen anyway. There's always a bunch of set up work after the connections are made. A DX7 isn't all that hard to get set up though.
