which flight controller is best?

Hi guys, I'm having new copter build.. gryphon 1000mm frame, hercules iii board, U7 motors, 17 t motor props, gremsy h14 gimbal. .
This frame would be for heavy lift..
i used A2 on my skyjib.. never had problems, because i never updated my firmware.. but i saw so many problems with new A2.. so don't wanna go for that.. I'm wondering for Wookong M with 5.20 firmware..
pls suggest me if there is any reliable flight controller for heavylift multirotor like gryphon 1000mm x8..

Hmmm, 'reliable flight controller' strikes me as an oxymoron.

Mikrokopter with FC 2.5 and their speed controllers, BL3.x

Many people learned from the very beginning with Mikrokopter, myself included. It isn't impossible, just another system with another way of doing things. Check out my Movi build to get an idea of what's involved

just reread your first post, not sure if the U7 motors have been used with the BL 3.x's or the Hercules board

A2 is very good now, all the early problems seem to have been ironed out. I prefer it to Wookong.

As Bartman says, the U7s are pretty picky so do your research before going for that combo.

Trust me, stay away from the A2 or anything DJI.

Well that video shows another FC holding solid in a steady wind so not very taxing. My A2 holds just as well in such conditions so I am not sure that necassarily proves anything. Not saying super x is better or worse but just that the video is not a very good example from what I can see.

I am using the WKM (FW 5.08 or 5.20) since years on quite a number of copter now and I am really happy with it.
can be big: (FW 5.20)

or a bit smaller: (FW 5.08)

That's not true. I would fly the WKM, it's not my first choice. Just not the A2.
