Which components are OK to buy used?

Hi All,

So, Im pricing out my first build.
Im looking at:
f450
e300
Naza v2 GPS
some 3 or 4 cell batteries
6ch radio

Some parts wear out, some parts are fine.
I just dont know which are which...

The batteries Im better off get new, right?
frame can be used, but they are so cheap anyway.
How about the Motors? do they wear out?
is the Naza cheaper used? or do the maintain their price well?
Thoughts on a radio?

I thinking you are thinking pretty much the right way.

It really does depend though, if you can buy a complete package and save a heap over new it might be a good way to get started.

Batteries, yes be pretty wary of used unless you can be sure they only have minor usage.

Radios, used the only radio at the moment that is probably worthwhile would be a Futaba T8FG or T8FG Super, I bought one of these for #2 son for $200 posted and it was as good as new, saved more than half the price for a great radio.
