What king of solder to use?

What kind of solder do you use when you solder the wires on the distribution board. Do you need a special solder to be safe when the wires get hot?

I use Kester 63/37 . Stay away from the lead free garbage. Get it at Electronic Equipment on 36 st, by Miami international.

60/40, can't go wrong!

Only reason to use lead free solder is if you are going to sell something and need to put the RoHS label on it. Most hobbyists use leaded solder.

dont think you will have the need for high temp solder, cant go wrong with 60/40 as said above
