I am on the verge of pulling the trigger on a sky-hero 700mm. I wanted to go through some of my thoughts on this bird and see if anyone would care to weigh in on the decision making process.

The purpose of this x8 build is to have a alternative MR for windy days and other less the favorable conditions. (all future builds will be coax but this is my first.) Something that can serve as a platform for my gopro gimbal as well as fpv setup. In the future I might swap out the electronics to make it a heavier lift setup. As far as I can tell the closest comparison is the Droidworx CX series which is almost twice the cost from what I can tell, and a lot smaller which means its not as future proof.
The Sky hero is around 600 dollars for the frame. Not cheap, but also not the most expensive frame out there. I currently fly a Carbon Core 950 hexa, flies great, but kind of a pain in the *** to maintenance. I will keep that for the z15 setup but probably wont by another carbon core frame.
Here are the pros
-Foldable
-Clean design platform- escs are in the booms plenty of room for FC and accessories.
-Strong frame
-Covered electronics to keep dust and light moister out.
-Dampening system that utilizes battery weight to lower HFV.
-Wide FOV
-No negative reviews, except someone who said it was two big.
-Looks freaking awesome.
And some Cons
-Expensive
-Not to many reviews- good or bad.
-Heavy
-Might not take to many larger gimbals- There is a pick with a CS gimbal but I'll believe it when I see it working.
-Parts are not readily available in the US yet.
Thats my rambling, what do you guys think of this frame? Any one have experience or thoughts?
