Thanks for the reply! I went ahead and ordered a couple of the TS5823 from ebay

They arrived on Saturday and I can't believe how small they are. They've got dip switches so not as convenient as the pushbutton ones but I'm thinking they won't last very long anyway!!

I'll check out the ones you listed and keep them in mind for when I'm closer to being ready to show up and race.

I don't know how good the cam is but bruce @ RCmodelreviews gave the tx a thumbs up 200mw and push button channel change

for racing 600mw is too much you just end up stepping all over everyone
