Let me know how it works out > I'm thinking of getting the same camera, I was going to go with the NEX 5 ,but after hearing so many complain about how poor the lens is I thought Nikon would be a better route

I'm very happy with it so far. Good camera at a good price. It also allows you to take photos with an interval timer, in case you don't have a shutter release set up.Just tried to attach a pic but the "manage attachments" button seems to be broken!Gunter.

Are the Images better than the NEX 5 as far as sharpness?
Haven't had a chance to compare directly, but I will do a test as soon as I find someone local with a NEX5!

Here's a duck I shot last weekend, I thought the colours came out quite well!

Birds don't come in that many colors you must have painted it in Photoshop. Great color and a fantastic shot

First time I've seen a mandarin duck since 6 years ago in Madeira Gunter, nice photo.

I took that snap at Beale Park in Reading, they have a few odd animals there!
