Zero UAV USB update cabel specs

Hello,
I am new to the multicopter scene and bought a used X8 coaxial multicopter with a YS-X6 controller.
The original software is very probably still on there. The copter did not come with the cable for firmware updates. I have found several posts saying I need a USB tot serial TTL converter cable. But the information is not specific:
  • Are all USB to RS232 cables identical?
  • Which pins of the RS232 connector do I connect to the 3-pin servo lead? (I have leads with top=orange, middle=red and bottom is brown)
  • Sometimes the middle (red) servo lead is not connected, how is that in this case?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Morris,
you cannot use a standard USB cable.
Zerouav has its own USB cable that has a circuit attached to it.
take a look at the image,,
the usb connector has a long circuit board, inside that black heat shrink
So you will have to write to zerouav to sent you one,
or if someone in you area or in a city close to you has a any zerouav products,
then he is bound to have more than one usb
