Everyone on this forum should vote.....

Took me a while to figure out the voting system. If you click the link provided by Ben, click the "Vote Now" button, on the following page just click the "next" button over and over again without choosing anything (unless you like to) unless you are in category 11, and then vote.

so guys.....JUST DO IT !

No need to vote for anything on the other pages unless you have an opinion on any of them. (I may have thrown in a vote for our local kayaking club, shhh!)

Just click "Next" until you get to the category for Videos, then vote for Yonder Blue!

crap, now it timed out and says thanks for voting. i got there to page 11 and didn't see flying fish when i posted. it said other at the bottom of each page, so thought we were suppose to put it there. ,,,, sorry dude, i tried

You Deserve it... Love your vids, shows some of the most fantastic aerial work I have seen. Your a credit to this industry, and I will def put s vote in for ya.

That is hardly fair on the other competitors. If the video is good enough it should be allowed to win without cheating.....

Too much of that goes on.

This is not cheating.....all my employees know about my madness concerning MR and filming, and on each Computer is one of my employees actually working, and in the lunchbreak I told them about this competition, emailed them a link of the video and a link to the voting site and left it up to them to vote.....guess what....everyone voted, but not to do me a favor (they know I love all of them anyway, so they don't have to crawl in my a**) but because they liked the vid....and again...this is not cheating.

In the world of motor racing that would be described as bending the rules. Is it in the spirit of the competition? No it is not. I would be surprised if the rules somewhere outlawed that practice. It is your choice however. you are the one who has to live with it afterwards. Your Little Hint says it all. If I were the competition organizer I would immediately scratch that entry.

.....Hint removed, in respect for your point of view....You know how much I like you, but this time I disagree (just a little)....a competition like this lives on the fact of how many "fans" can be motivate to move their a**es and vote....A real competition would be if the winner gets choosen by a respected jury, which also would comment why they have choosen a specific entry....

PS: We can argue as long as you like....keeps this post from disappearing from the "Active Threads" section :tennis:

I don't think that is the case. It comes down to how many friends you have that are prepared to help you and whip-up a little support en-masse and not how good the entry is.
When a competition is being judged by a panel of experts who have no commercial or other interests then it's worth entering. But as you may recall we had a competition where some really piss poor entries that did not even adhere to the rules as set out by the organizer were attracting votes sufficient to almost win the competition. Lets not go into details but the facts cannot be argued against no matter how biased you want to look at it. Facts are facts. If the people who make the votes are not qualified or do not read the rules and make a sound judgement broken down into the essential requirements, then you may as well pull the winner out of a hat. Fun or Serious it requires some time and effort and the risk is that it will be prejudged.

Sorry to disagree Chris because I know you always mean well.
