Mikrokopter Trying to install mk-usb driver on my Windows 7 computer

I have been trying to get the mk-usb driver onto my windows 7 Premium laptop. When i right click and say install I keep getting a message that says " does not support this method of install". Anyone know of any issues with installing this driver on a windows 7 machine. I would like to use this laptop to run mk tools.

Hello David,

Connect your MK-Usb through a USB- connection.
It should automaticaly be recognised.
Go to the hardware- manager and look at the connections, COM-ports.
There you should see a new port , apart from COM 1 etc.
In the USB- list you should see an new serial port.
Now go into your Mikrotool software and click on Firmware-update and Terminal.
You now see the COM- connections in the bottom-left corner.
Look if you see the ( probably) COM-4 there and if the green activity- point next to it is lit.
If not click on DEBUG and see what happens in your Koptertool-screen.
If connected to your Copter it should start getting info.

Good luck,

Hans
