Tripod Screw or just the thread and a plastic Washer

thats an option but the good thing about the CS one is that its two pieces thread and plastic washer. So you can leave the thread in the cam, easily fit it to the gimbal and screw the plasitc nut on. The standard ones you always have to find the cam thread and fiddle arround.

try ebay just search tripod screw

hot shoe screw adapter then just hacksaw the square hot shoe plate off and clean end of thread

has a fairly long thread looks like it would do the job

thanks gunter but i like the ones that i can mod to be only a thread and than have a fitting nut of bigger size to screw on with your finger more. i can leave the thread in the cam and fit it on the gimbal more easily and than fixate it with the nut.

ebay looked cheaper than amazon

but dont know about delivery times which would be quickest

but deffo cheaper option than what you first showed

i bought the mini Tripod at the electronic store less $8 dismantle the base remove screw and thumb drive !

The thread for a tripod mount is 1/4-20 UNC or 1/4-20 BSW (Whitworth). So why not buy a bolt cut it down to the size required, discard the bolt head and use a wing nut to tighten it up.
