the white lights won't go away

Dreamweaver,

I assume that your throttle was at high when you took the Tx Monitor picture. If not your need to reverse the Th channel or were you showing me your Failsafe settings? Not sure which. I did not see anything out of place with your installation. I have been talking to another AZ resident that is having issues with his motor temps in your heat but not white flashes. Since you are not having that issue then let's address the white flashes. When you fly what effect on control do the flashes have? Are they continuous or intermittent? I occasionally get them with fast stick movements, the movement disturbs the internal dampening in the IMU or overloads the processor in the MU. Take your choice. Since you moved to 8" props, did you also change to 4S lipos? That is what makes the 8" props work. Higher power, higher revs, and faster response to changes in attitude.

Not sure of the state of the TX when i took the software pics but i know the TX calibrations are normal.

I mentioned the 8" props to confirm that i have use the stock 8s and 10s and graupner 10s all of which give me the white lights.

I mentioned the heat as i'm not sure in the components in the IMU could be overheating...as it seems i dont get the white lights for the first 20-30 seconds but then i get them non stop with all big stick movements.

There does not appear to be any flight anomalies when the white lights flash as generally i'm moving fast manually.

The reason for my concern is i'm about to purchase the data link upgrade and flight my GCS only so i NEED to know if i'm going to loose control, fly off or drop out the sky.

As above i think the IMU maybe over heating or the vibration tape in the kit is not good or something has come loose...as above i don't recalled seeing any white lights for the first 4 days.

Dreamweaver, have you adjusted your compass for magnetic reasons... If not its anything but straight

Yes...was getting some TB effect so i adjusted for 10.4* east (right) from north.

Seems to hover perfect 80% of the time...the other 20% there is some drift but it been windy almost every day...a touch of the stick in the opposite directions seems to crue it some of the time.
