Total amateur drone pilot here. I have aspirations of moving into the commercial sector of the drone world, and Joe and Erik have taught me so much! I pilot the 350 QX3 and will receive my Phantom 3 Pro in the mail tomorrow(2/26.) I love to learn, and would welcome any contact from fellow UAV enthusiasts. I look forward to being a part of the community being built here. Kudos to you guys, great job! FYI I have listened to every podcast while at work these last couple of months and I would be no where near as knowledgeable as I am without all of you. So again, thank you!

Hi @Jay C. , welcome to DV, congrats on your new machine. I know that some photographers look down the Phantoms as a "toy", I think that the P3 is a very capable machine, portable, easy to work with, and relatively affordable. I'm sure you'll have fun discovering what it can do for you.
