Heli's & Tele's bloke
So I tried a set of these and yes, they do sound different to the stock DJI S800 props. They lack the aggressive buzz. But otherwise I saw nothing different with performance. What I didn't like, because the T-Motor props are slightly longer than the standard DJI props, was the really small gap between some of the props. The gaps were not all the same - good ole DJI precision - and some were barely 1/4".
This harks back to a concern I voiced when the Vibration Damping kit was first announced, namely that the S800 booms would each be losing one of their fixing points and could suffer reduced rigidity as a result. Every 'upgrade' in the book has been applied to this poxy S800, including EVO booms. They may be slightly more rigid than the originals (don't believe Krleas' grimace in the reely, reely scientific KW video demonstrating the rigidity of the EVO booms) but without the previously rigid twist-clip they are now capable of lateral movement.
So anyway, with the general boom rigidity reduced by the anti-vibe kit I didn't like the idea of booms bending just enough to allow two props to touch and to subsequently bring the whole lot down. The T-Motor props came off and they can wait for something else.
