XAircraft superx set up problem

I am hooking up my first superx pro to a hexa with a spectrum dx8. everything is calibrated, sticks and switches working and compass calibrated. I can not get the motors to start.i have looked at everything and am at a loss. any ideas? thanks ted

I noticed on mine that after using it for a while and messing with the settings that now the motors don't start automatically as they used to after arming. Now, after arming, I have to advance the throttle (within the allowed 3 secs) to get them going.

You need to set your throttle end points to be lower. First thing to try is to adjust your trim on your throttle channel down a few notches. The FC thinks you are not at full down throttle and wont arm because of that.
