KK Flight Controller super x going in my align m690

want to swap out the the align fc with a super x standard and noticed that the align fc is in the middle of the frame not over the cg. Would like to know where those that changed fc on the 690 put their new one.
Plus on the instruction for the super x they would like the gps as close as possible. but if put where the align has it and the fc on the cg it is about 10 inches apart. Did not see in software where you put the location of gps from the fc like in other brands , what would you super x users view be thanks

I have always installed the superX FC and the GPS on the CoG. I see with the align that might be difficult.

Would there be room under the canopy to make a small "tower" for placing the GPS on top of the FC unit? On the TTRobotix Super Hornet review I did here (similar canopy style), I cut a hole in the canopy so the mast could pass through. I 3D printed my own mast system, and the tray the puck sits in was removable from the mast for canopy removal.

here is the first steup ,still need some more connections yet and get the osd and gimbal plus waiting on the 3d printed retract mounts.

here is a few more with all the parts, they all works but need to do some tweaking. Could not wait any longer(had it since Dec.) so tucked all the wires in added some weight to balance. Had about 5 min hover in the back yard after calibration , it was fair not to solid a hover but sure I can fix that. You could tell it has lots of power and with the retracts up looks great. The align g2 gimbal is a waste of money so next order will be the stella and the v2 osd. Think this will be my next fav and with the long range gear in will be fun with the goggles.
