Strange Vibrations from Arm extentions

Hey gang,

So I am making some f450s for a special film project. For this project I am using 12inch props and lifting about 2.5-3 kg. I'd love to be able to use a different different frame all together but I am stuck with this one.

I also need to use motor extensions to give a little more stability as well as an aesthetic choice. I am using carbon fiber arm extensions from RC-drones.com. They seemed pretty rigid before adding them to the arms. So for when doing test I am getting fine results with out the motor extensions but as soon as the motor extensions go on I get sporadic and violent tremors, like short little burst of the motors revving hard. I tried lowering the gains, and raising the gains but its not helping. Also this is happening without any payload.

It seems like it must be a vibration induced feedback to the flight controller but thought I would post whilst doing further test to see if anyone else has had this issue and how they solved it.

Thanks in advance for any ideas or advice.

the extensions just add leverage to the already flexible arm, thats why all the extended dji replacement arms are selling so well, like ours.

If you grab your motor and twist, see the flex, that's the problem, ie dji jello arms, etc.
