XAircraft Speed differences between GPS and ATTI/Manual?

I've got about 10 flights under my belt now with my Tarot T960/SuperX/Taranis combo. A few flights in I've started to get more adventurous by flying in ATTI mode (baby steps) and have yet to do much in manual.

I have noticed that there's a big difference in vehicle speed and pitch between GPS and ATTI mode. Full throttle in GPS mode is not terribly fast. Full throttle in ATTI mode is crazy fast.

Is this normal?

If you think ATTI mode is fast, then you should probably hold off on Manual mode. Depending on your copter's specific details, it may shock you how agile (or dangerous) it becomes when you shift to manual.

So that means yes. Yeah I'm taking my time and making sure I'm confident in what I'm doing.

Speaking of GPS/ATTI I switched to GPS from ATTI when the bird was moving pretty fast. The hex amazingly slammed on the brakes to a full stop in what seemed like less than a second. I don't imagine that's good though. Puts a lot of stress on it I would think.

yes they do what you experience. the superx one is actually kinda loose compared to the dji setup.... it's strength is it draws a nice straight line and eleiminates wind influence to drift side to side or be blown off course. it also makes a great stationary look on classic aerials looking down, nothing moves but the subject hands off.... it's not for every flight especially looking for speed.
