Recently discovered how much fun quads are. Been itching to continue with the 2016 Group Build and have a nice platform when ready. Been flying my Hubsan indoors non-stop and happy to say I can keep it in the air without crashing; still very basic flying, nothing fancy.

Anyway, pulled the trigger last night and will be building a 3D Printer to use to make parts, etc. This coupled with my CNC I should be able to build a complete quad from scratch. Should be some fun projects coming ahead.

I think you'll find that with the CNC and the printer you can do some really great stuff. Been meaning to start a build thread for the foldable X8 I made using center plates and retract mounts I made with my home built CNC.

Between the 2 machines, it really is only limited by your creativity....and the expense of raw stock.
