Hi, thought i would share this build with you all, as i think its one of the first XL kits out there, The XL has longer stiffer booms (500mm, 2mm tube thickness, thicker plates and the batteries have been moved to the bottom plate).
its using U7's with Tmotor 80A ESC's, this has raised an issue, when i try to program the ESC's as suggested in the manual, they beep rapidly at me, I am using a Futaba T14SG with the R7008SB rx, powering up one ESC at a time with the TX on and the throttle stick fully up, they go through the start up beeps then beep rapidly, Im powering the RX from the BEC on the ESC.. frustrating as this is stopping me getting out in teh sunshine today. - Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
in terms of FC im going to use the A2 initially as I have a Z15 Gimbal, both from an S800EVO, ultimately i plan to fly the Gremsy Gimbal and will change to the Xaircraft SuperX, when i get approval for the Gremsy, this will end up being my commercial machine and the S800EVo will go on Ebay, once the flight test is complete and ops manual re-approved.
I love the look of the new machine, i was surprised by how compact it is, looking forward to getting it up in the air.
cheers and thanks for any assistance with the ESC's.
