I am new to multirotor building but I will be receiving all the parts to build a PixHawk based Sky-Hero Spyder 6 soon and will document the process, from beginning to end, starting in the next week or so. Stay tuned!

By the way, if you are looking for a supplier of Sky-Hero multirotors and their parts, be sure to check out Bradatech.com. They are located in Ontario and have the very best customer service I have ever experienced! (I don't care what people say about Canadians! :)) Thanks Yves!

Okay, the parts are slowly streaming in and I am excited about getting started. Last night I realized I might have a problem with the batteries I selected and want to ask for other opinions on this forum. I had purchased the Turnigy Multistar 4s 10-20c 10000 mAh batteries but then realized that my 6 T-Motor 2814-710kv motors at max Amps will draw close to 120 A. While this will still be within burst rates for the battery, I am thinking I better upgrade my battery to the 16000 mAh version. Any thoughts?

Did you get your Sky Hero Spyder 6 in the air? I'm thinking of buying one. How does it fly vs a conventional type of hexacopter?

What prop size are you using? I think your C rating is pretty low.
