Site issues

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
Hi everyone,
If you tried to log in today you probably noticed that the site was down. This was due to a Denial-of-Service attack on the Network Solutions servers where the site is hosted. They were down most of the day so I'm sorry if anyone has been trying to get in for specific information or just to burn time at the office!
The site is still having problems and I'm continuing to get emails related to site failures so please just hang in there and be patient if things don't work immediately. I'm continuing to work to improve our server options and hopefully we'll start to see improvements in the coming months.
Thanks for being patient.
Bart

PS, don't buy hosting services from Network Solutions.

the site is functioning but it's also still screwed up. i'll give Network Solutions a call tomorrow if the database continues to act weird.

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
the state of the site

it's been a rough week for multirotorforums.com with all of the issues we've had with our web host, Network Solutions.
the site is running and everything appears to be functioning but it's slow and i'm continuing to get error messages from the host.
one problem i've seen is when i have two tabs open with both running the site. for whatever reason it screws up the database and causes an error. if you're having issues try running only one window with one tab opened to the site.
i'm heading to the land of the giant talking mouse tomorrow so i'll be unable to do much if the site continues to falter. i'll be back by july 2 (we're driving so it's two days in transit each way).
i intend to confront this issue head on when i return. until then please bear with me and continue to enjoy what you can of the site.
bart

ps.....look for a new contest announcement the week after i get home!! this one will be a little harder to win!!!

The Land or the World? I guess the World is closer to NJ. I'm a left coaster so I've only been to Disneyland.

I guess you wouldn't be able to drive to California in 2 days...or could you?

Network solutions sucks! My wife used them for the longest time and it was a terrible experience. We now use Tiger Technologies for several years now and no issues I can think of. Hope you get it to work out. Shawn

Hey Bart, I just sent you a message. Let me know if you get it because as soon as I hit send it seemed to just disappear. I see nothing under "sent items" and was just wondering if this might be an undetected bug or me being overly cautious (like most software devs).

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
No mobile version yet, sorry. I have a number of improvements planned but we've got to secure advertising income to pay for everything. It's not far off but until that happens, any purchases made from GoPro or HobbyPartz.com that are started by clicking the banner links will generate a small commission for the site and help a bit.
Thanks,
Bart

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
My apologies to everyone as the site is slower than ever. We're looking for new hosting and hope to have a move planned for the very near future. Also look for blogs, increased photo hosting, and a mobile platform in the near future.
Thanks to DROIDWORX and QUADROCOPTER.US for their support of the site and for making these upgrades possible.
Regards,
Bartman

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
Just checked the site stats
May, 5020 unique visitors
June, 5372 unique visitors
July, 6011 unique visitors and almost 200,000 page loads and the month isn't over yet!!

If the site's going to run slow, at least it's because people are here reading stuff.

Upgrade's on its way, thanks for being patient.
