Short Quadcopter flight time

Hi guys,

I am new to your forum so I hope I am posting this in the correct section.

I am a bit lost on how to get more time in the air with my copter. My setup is as follows:

HK Talon 2 frame
NAZA V2 controller
Turnigy prop drive 28-26 1000kv motors
Turnigy plush 30A esc's
Thunder power 3900mAh G8 Pro lite 3S 25C battery
10 x 6 MayTech props

With this setup I battle to get 4 - 5 min in the air. If I add my gimbal and GoPro this goes down to less than 3 min.

The all up weight including the gimbal, GoPro and battery is 1,5kg

What do I change to get more time in the air? Props? Battery? I can go up to 4s on the current setup.

Do I need more power? Should I change motors? Esc's?

Any help / suggestions would be appreciated

Its a basic laws of physics thing........ gravitational force is x feet per sec squared...
so there is a corresponding, nearly exponential, cost curve required to stay ahead of the extra payload weight.
Every extra 100 grams will cost you at least one minute of air time. Getting rid of the waterproof housing will be a start.
Motor/prop efficiency is also too low in part due to the high motor KV.
But at least you have plenty of room for much larger motors and prop diameters.
May I suggest that you use eCalc to get it back under control.....
