Setup for Naza and GPS with an X9303

Has anyone set up a JR x9303/921 combo to work with the Naza with GPS? I'm having some trouble determining which transmitter controls I should configure for the VU, the Atti/Atti-GPS/Failsafe switch, the IOC switch and also have the ability to control at least the Tilt gimbal on my GoPro mount. It's probably a pipe dream that I could do all that and still have pan/tilt control on my FPV camera, but maybe. I'm not a 9303 wizard so I could use any help that someone wants to offer (so long as it's "informed" help).

Thanks,

I have both of mine setup on my JR 11X, one with a Spektrum AR7000 and the other with an AR8000, so its a matter of do you have enough channels and controls on the TX, I'm not familiar with the 9303. I have the flight modes setup on the 3 position F mode switch with a failsafe trigger using a mix of AUX3 to gear on the gear channel two position switch, the IOC/HomeLock setup on the 3 position Rudder/DR switch, and I also have TX adjustable ATTI gain setup on a slider linked to AUX2 channel. If I were to give up the adjustment for ATTI that channel could be used for camera tilt but if using the Naza for camera tilt stabilization at that point you've maxxed out the ports on the Naza. The alternative is to just hook the tilt and pan servos to two open channels that you can assign to knobs or sliders and not have any connection to the Naza for the camera control.

So provided you have the necessary switches, knobs, and channels you should be able to do it. I know it can be done with 8 channels you might have to be creative to get it all working with less.

I hope that the 9503 and the 9303 are close enough.

Those videos help me a lot. Thanks to testfly.

Good luck

Dude thank you SO much for this post. I just got a JR 9303 to go with my ezUHF and this was very helpful. It would be so nice to be able to change the AETR channel order so I could use PPM going into the NAZA but I'll take it...

This radio is SO much nicer than my Turnigy 9X in fit and finish and feel.
