Seasoned Pro looking for an awesome small rig ....ideas?

Better is hard to come by, 2.7k is a LOT of resolution for the size and weight. It's far better then a DSLR camera, and approaching a Black Magic raw cam. Anyway, I don't need a "gopro" mount. I just need a small 3axis. Anyone?

You will find the Gaui too small, the suggestion for the Rusty stuff really would be best for you, just means a bit of build time. The great thing about Rustys gear is you can reconfigure it later if you want. Im just getting a small Y6 together from my Rustys gear that was a Hexa last month.

To be honest that gimbal is using direct drive servos and those are right now being blown out of the water by the brushless motor gimbals. If you can hold off for a month or so you will find that a pan/tilt/roll brushless gimbal will appear which will give you far superior footage than the direct drive servo style. The problem is that you are looking to buy/build right when the brushless gimbals are first appearing on the market so your timing is a little unfortunate if you want to get things going in a hurry. Scroll down this link till you find the youtube links to see the footage http://gothelirc.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=203&cat=Brushless+Gimbal+System the direct drive servo gimbal just wont get anywhere close to this. I know its more expensive but in the long run you will save a fair bit of frustration with respect to quality of footage.
